First-Line Prescription Treatment for Hallucinations and Delusions Associated with Parkinson's Disease Psychosis in the LTC Setting

Hallucinations and delusions are common, underreported nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD) that can significantly impact patients and caregivers. Attempting to manage hallucinations and delusions in patients with PD can present a therapeutic bind. Additionally, real-world evidence from 2 retrospective analyses investigating the risk of all-cause mortality among patients with PD psychosis treated with atypical antipsychotics will be presented.
