The Society's public policy priorities are prepared and approved by the PALTmed Public Policy Committee. The PALTmed Board of Directors then reviews and gives final approval and designates implementation of priorities to staff and public policy steering committee. These priorities serve as a guide for PALTmed’s government relations work both with Congress and government agencies such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and do not limit any new policy issues that may arise, or changes made at the discretion of the committee or Board of Directors.
