The Long-Term and Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) Health IT Collaborative will host an upcoming webinar, in partnership with the HHS Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), to help LTPAC providers with information blocking regulations designed to enable smooth access to patients’ health data and achieve the benefits of health information exchange.
Information Sharing: Navigating the Federal Information Blocking Regulations in Long-Term & Post-Acute Care, taking place on Thursday, February 22, from 1-2:30 PM ET, will feature presenters sharing how the new regulations affect your organization and why they matter to you. Sharing electronic health information—when and where it is needed—requires thoughtful implementation of health IT-supported workflows and processes.
The Society is a founding member of the collaborative and has worked to advance interoperability for more than a decade. We are happy to work with our colleagues to provide critical information all PALTC clinicians need to know about these important topics. Many members have reached out asking questions about the status of regulations coming out related to interoperability, HIT adoption, and information blocking. This webinar will address these questions.
Register today to get answers to these and other questions:
- What information needs to be shared and with whom?
- What are information blocking exceptions, and when do they apply?
- Which parts of the regulations are key for LTPAC clinicians and operators?
