BE IT RESOLVED, that Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) expands its efforts regarding care of residents in Assisted Living Communities to include developing a greater knowledge base about Assisted Living residents, with a focus on quality of care, transitions of care, specifics regarding quality measures in this population, and successful models of care for this population within the confines of the new healthcare business environment, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that PALTmed explore mechanisms for distributing information regarding Assisted Living medical issues to its membership.
