B98 - Improved Communication of Medical Information to Long Term Care Facilities

RESOLVED: Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) recommend a quality of care standard for those who provide medical services and consultation to residents of skilled and intermediate long-term care facilities, to provide legible copies of the reports to the long-term care facility.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That providers of medical services and consultations to long-term care residents be informed of this quality of care standard.
