THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) work with the appropriate parties to allow medical providers in long-term care and Medical Directors of nursing facilities to participate in multiple Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs);
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that PALTmed bring a resolution to the American Medical Association House of Delegates Meeting asking the AMA HoD to support action by appropriate parties that would support allowing medical providers in long term care and Medical Directors of nursing facilities to participate in multiple ACOs
