G95 - Physician Medical Directors

PALTmed resolves that the American Medical Association advocate for uniform state-based requirements that both Medicare and Medicaid certified nursing facilities retain only licensed physicians as nursing home medical directors; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the AMA vigorously oppose any attempts to devalue the expertise and practice abilities of medical directors in our nation's nursing homes.
