L93 - Elimination of the 3 Day Prior Hospital Stay Requirement

Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) resolves that the American Medical Association recommend that the Secretary, in conjunction with health care professionals and skilled care providers, define a subset of patients (or DRGs) for whom the elimination of the 3-day prior hospital stay would avert hospitalization and generate overall cost savings.
