Purpose:
To support high-quality, relevant research within our community, PALTmed has created guidelines for reviewing and posting member-submitted surveys. Our goal is to encourage meaningful participation while offering a positive experience for all members.
Eligibility to Submit:
Industry Funded Research and Grants
Research that is funded in whole or in part by a commercial entity is not eligible for posting under this member-submitted survey process. This applies even when the research is led by a member clinician or academic, unless the funding source has no role in the survey content, design, data collection or dissemination.
Submission Process for Members:
- Before submitting, please ensure your survey is relevant to the PALTC field and avoids promotional, commercial, or recruitment-related content.
- Survey Request Form:
Members must complete and submit the Survey Request Form, which includes:- Purpose and objective of the survey
- Intended audience
- Estimated time to complete
- Survey link
- Deadline for participation
- Contact information for the survey owner (name and email)
- Review and Approval:
- PALTmed staff will review the submission within 10 business days.
- Criteria for approval include relevance to the PALTC field, scientific or educational merit, ethical standards, and time burden on respondents.
- Surveys must not contain any promotional content or solicitations.
- PALTmed may limit the number of survey requests posted each month to avoid overburdening members.
- Posting and Promotion:
- If approved, PALTmed staff will post the survey to the appropriate PALTconnect community and, upon request, post one reminder.
- Posts will include a note clarifying that survey approval does not imply endorsement by PALTmed.
Important Notes:
- Members may not post surveys directly to PALTconnect.
- PALTmed reserves the right to deny, delay, or remove any survey submission at its sole discretion, without notice. We appreciate your understanding as we balance member engagement and community experience.
- This opportunity is intended to supplement the sender’s outreach efforts and should not be the sole method of dissemination. PALTmed does not guarantee a response rate.
