Orlando, FLThis conference is designed to educate physicians, advanced practice nurses, senior care pharmacists, consultant pharmacists, physician assistants, directors of nursing in LTC, registered nurses, and long-term care administrators; as well as geriatricians, primary care and home care physicians, physicians considering becoming long-term care medical directors, hospice medical directors, or home care medical directors; and others with an interest in PALTC and its continuum of care. The faculty includes national and regional authorities in the fields of post-acute and long-term care medicine, medical direction, senior care pharmacology, and geriatric medicine. This program is designed to provide a review and update of major geriatric diseases, illnesses, and risks found in nursing home patients, residents of assisted living facilities, those under hospice care, and seniors living at home.
