Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are designed to connect members with shared interests and goals across the post-acute and long-term care continuum. These groups provide a collaborative space to exchange insights, address challenges, and drive the advancement of best practices.

Eligible participants include physician members who serve as CMOs for organizations that focus on the PALTC setting. This includes physicians actively practicing as a CMO of a multi-facility organization (either facility oversight or medical group practice management), and who oversee multiple other medical directors and providers. Participation also is open to CMOs of organizations that directly support post-acute provider organizations, such as those offering healthcare technology solutions, and former CMOs who currently serve in a consulting capacity. Retired CMOs may also be invited to continue their participation and contributions.
A community for NPs and PAs to collaborate on clinical practices, patient management, and the unique aspects of of PALTC settings.
This community is for those interested in non-clinical business-related guidance around PALTC practice. Topics include operations management, value-based care, revenue cycle, risk and compliance, financial management, mergers/acquisitions, etc.
An active membership is required to join any PALTmed SIG. Each SIG has its own specific membership criteria:

To establish a new SIG, a minimum of 15 members must express interest in its formation. Once this requirement is met, a representative from the proposed group must submit a request to PALTmed, that includes the following:
PALTmed will review the request. If approved, PALTmed will announce the formation of the SIG via PALTconnect (the member forum), PALTnews (e-newsletter), and on the website.
Note: PALTmed reserves the right to retire any SIG that maintains fewer than 15 active members.
