Traveling by Air
Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is the primary airport serving Albuquerque and is located approximately 5 miles from the Convention Center, about a 10–15-minute drive depending on traffic.
The airport offers connections through major airline hubs, making Albuquerque accessible from cities throughout the country.
Ground Transportation
Several convenient transportation options are available from Albuquerque International Sunport to downtown Albuquerque and the Convention Center.
Rideshare Services
Uber and Lyft provide transportation from the airport. Designated rideshare pickup is located outside Door 7 on the baggage claim level.
Taxi Services
Taxi service is available outside Door 2 on the airport's baggage claim level.
Rental Cars
Several major rental car companies operate at the airport. Rental cars can be a convenient option if you plan to explore Albuquerque and the surrounding area.
Public Transportation
ABQ RIDE provides fare-free public bus transportation throughout Albuquerque. Route 50 connects the airport with the downtown area. Review current routes and schedules before traveling.

The Albuquerque Convention Center is conveniently located in downtown Albuquerque, with access from Interstates 25 and 40.

Parking
Parking is available at the Albuquerque Convention Center garage, located near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Broadway Boulevard.
Additional parking is available at the Civic Plaza garage and other downtown public parking facilities.
Event parking at the Convention Center's designated garages generally ranges from $10-$20 per vehicle. Rates may vary, and in-and-out privileges are not included.
