What Attendees Said About Last Year's Annual Meeting

What Attendees Said About Last Year

Don't Just Take Our Word for It

There's something special about bringing the PALTC community together. From meaningful connections and practical education to renewed inspiration, PALTmed's annual meeting offers an experience that stays with you long after it's over. Hear what past attendees have to say.

This was my first PALTC conference as a geriatrician, and they do an excellent balance of clinical and regulatory sessions to help anyone working in LTC or ALF. The sessions were really tailored to our frail, complex population, and I walked away more interested and supported in becoming a medical director.

Emily Escue, MD
Education tailored to PALTC

This conference is always so powerful. I have been attending since I participated in the Futures Program in 2012. Engaged colleagues with a common purpose, led by experts in the PALTC field. So much clinical information that is applicable to daily practice.

Elizabeth Hames, DO, CMD
Education that translates into better practice

PALTmed conferences provide me a deep sense of purpose. A space to reconnect and strengthen collegiate bonds that turn into lifelong support systems. The sessions offer great topics, with a goal to advocate for elderly patients through knowledge. Each meeting leaves me inspired and equipped to make a real difference.

A fresh sense of purpose
Michele Bellantoni

The annual PALTmed meeting is a reunion with my professional family across the nation. We learn from each other, we strengthen our commitment to our profession, and we recruit the next generation of PALTmed members who will sustain our work.

A lifelong professional connection
Dirk Juschka

I went to my first PALTmed conference a couple of decades ago and it proved so inspirational that I have gone almost every year since.

Dirk Juschka, MD, CMD
A conference worth returning to

Great speakers, lots of informative talks, a fun location and extremely friendly people! I love coming every year to learn more about the LTC world, but it is also such a bonus to be able to catch up with people I only get to see once a year. It makes it feel like I'm coming home instead of going to a work conference.

Erika Leung, MD, CMD
The feeling of coming home

The PALTmed community is an inspiring and helpful group of many disciplines all aligned with the goal of helping our PALTC facilities and clinicians provide the absolute best holistic patient care.

Thomas Andrews, MD
Finding your professional community

Every year I believe I am better prepared for the challenges of practice because of this conference.

Luis Navazo, MD, CMD, HMDC
An investment in professional growth

This conference is essential to keep me from burning out and keeping me inspired!

Aida Wen, MD, CMD
The inspiration to keep going

I really enjoy the conferences and I like being around people that go through what I go through too. Sharing experiences and getting ideas on how to improve makes me feel like I belong.
