Consider a Joint Providership Opportunity with Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed).
Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM (CME) for physicians. This means PALTmed can jointly sponsor CME programs developed by eligible organizations that are not ACCME accredited. We also can provide CMD credits for physicians through the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (ABPLM) and MOC points through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
PALTmed will consider joint providership for activities that provide education relevant to PALTC practitioners. Activities must meet the accreditation requirements of the ACCME and adhere to the definition of CME by the American Medical Association (AMA). In addition, the requirements of the ABPLM and ABIM MOC points must meet the requirements for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
If you are interested in PALTmed’s Joint Providership program, contact us at accreditation@paltmed.org before completing an application. Acceptance of applications from new providers is subject to current PALTmed capacity.
For activities that are seeking ABPLM CMD credits and have been accredited for CME from another organization, please contact ABPLM at cmd@paltmed.org.
